🏒🏆 Peewee B2 Red ARE CLOQUET BARN BURNER CHAMPS! 🏆🏒

What a weekend for our Peewee B2 Red team, culminating in a championship title at the Cloquet Barn Burner Tournament! This victory follows a strong 3rd place finish (as the highest B2 team!) in Sauk Rapids last month.

Cloquet brought frigid temperatures, but our Caps were red hot! After a dominant start to the tournament with big wins, and bouncing back from a tough game against CEC Purple, they were ready for the championship showdown on Sunday against CEC White!

The final was an absolute thriller! The Caps took an early lead, and controlled much of the play, but the Lumberjacks managed to tie it up late. After dominating a nail-biting 3-on-3 overtime without a goal, it all came down to a shootout!

Two of our players showed nerves of steel, burying their shots, and our fantastic goaltender stood tall, making two crucial saves to secure the win and the championship banner!
