St. Paul Capitals ACE Camps

The Caps are back this summer with our in-house summer development camps through Tom Vannelli's ACE Hockey Camps.

Sessions will run from mid-June through mid-August and include specialized goalie and skater programs for 8U/Mites through Bantam/15U.

Tradition Hockey Summer Programs

Tradition Hockey offers camps for Mite 1-Squirts and 6U-10U in Roseville, Richfield and Blaine (Fogerty). 

The 8 week camps will start the week of June 10th. Each location will be led by Marty Sertich, with 3-4 additional coaches on the ice.

Saint Paul Skills

Dan Esrig, a Capitals Mini-Mite parent and hockey skills coach, is putting together this camp for kids who played Mini-Mites, 6U/8U girls and Mite 1s last season.

This is a new, flexible summer hockey program at Highland Arena beginning May 16th and running throughout the summer. Sessions will be held on Thursday evenings from 5:10-6:10pm.

Players will practice skating, shooting, passing, and stickhandling in a low-pressure and fun environment. Dan will design and lead the program with coaching support from local high school and college players.

Girls camps

Tony Scheid Summer Development Program

This program is for High School, 14U, and advanced 12U players.

Tony Scheid Hockey is a school that teaches the basic fundamentals of hockey. Our purpose is to create a positive learning environment that helps players improve their skills while having fun playing the game they love! 

Dates: June 11 - July 26 (no ice the week of July 4)

OS Hockey Training Camps

The OS Hockey Training program is designed to deliver an exceptional training environment specifically for female athletes, fostering an inclusive setting that nurtures physical development, social interaction, and intellectual growth while providing unparalleled athletic opportunities.

The 8-week Summer Training program for 5 Skill Levels (10U - Varsity; (8U: please contact OS). It consists of two 2-hour sessions per week each with 1 hour of on ice, 1 hour of off ice training.

Dates:

  • June-August


3 metro locations: Blaine (Fogerty), St. Paul (SPA/Drake), & Bloomington

High School Summer Training Programs (STP)


Scots STP

The Scots Hockey summer training registration is OPEN and they're inviting Capitals players!

The Scots STP is open to:

  • Returning Scots players from 2023-24 season
  • Players in 8th grade or above for 2024-25 school year/new to Scots Hockey
  • Placements determined by coaching staff
  • Space is limited to 25 players/group

The camp runs June 17 - July 25.

Riveters STP

The St. Paul/Two Rivers Riveters Girls hockey program invites girls entering 8-12th grade in the 2024-2025 school year to their summer camp. The camp will focus on developing core skills:

  • Passing and puck support
  • Puck protection
  • Shooting/Scoring
  • Defensive positioning
  • Skating technique to support each skill

Small area competition will be used to promote transfer of skills into a game environment.

Dates: June 17th – July 24 (no ice the week of July 4th)

CDH Girls STP

This program is for High School, 14U, and advanced 12U players.

Tony Scheid Hockey is a school that teaches the basic fundamentals of hockey. Our purpose is to create a positive learning environment that helps players improve their skills while having fun playing the game they love! We train and learn with purpose on these key skills: power skating, edge control, balance, quickness, explosive speed, stick handling, puck control, puck protection, checking/angling, passing, shooting, and scoring. We use small area games to teach the game by playing the game. We play small area games every practice session and provide coaching and feedback on team play and interacting as a unit. Our concentration is on the concepts of play-making, cycling, battling, and offensive/defensive support.
