Equipment Loan and Rental Programs
Equipping our players and making hockey accessible to our community is important to us all. And we're happy to update you on several key initiatives designed to support our athletes and reduce equipment costs:
Community Equipment Drive: We're asking our community to donate gently used hockey equipment that your players have outgrown. Your generosity directly helps new players join our program and reduces financial barriers for families.
- Most Needed: Gear for ages 4-12.
- Accepted Items: Skates, breezers, gloves, shoulder, elbow, shin pads, neck guards, helmets (with a valid HECC sticker), sticks, and clean hockey bags.
- Please Note: No socks or jerseys, please.
- Drop-off: Look for our designated collection box in the lobby of Charles M Schulz - Highland Arena.
- When: Donations accepted throughout the season.
New Equipment Rental Program
To further support our youngest players, we're developing an equipment rental program specifically for our Mini-Mites, Mites, and 8U players.
- Express Your Interest: If you or someone you know would benefit from this program, please reach out to our Community Connections Director, Cory Wynn, at connections@stpaulcapitalshockey.com.
Easier Access to Loaner Equipment
Our dedicated teams are actively working to bring our existing inventory of skater and goalie loaner equipment online. This will make it much easier for families to see what's available and access the gear they need. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting new system!
