Jordan Greenway: First African American on U.S. Olympic Men’s Hockey Team
In 2018, then Boston University forward Jordan Greenway became the first African American man named to the U.S. Men’s hockey team. Greenway, currently a forward for the Minnesota Wild, told the Sporting News. “I’ve been able to accomplish a lot of good things and just allowing a lot of African-American kids who are younger than me who see kind of what I’m doing, I hope that can be an inspiration for them.”
Greenway has continued to inspire kids since joining the Wild.
