What a THRILLER of a weekend for our St. Paul Capitals Squirt B2 Red team! 🤩 These young players brought the heat, the hustle, and an incredible amount of excitement to the rink!
It all kicked off with a dominant performance against Stillwater Black. Our Capitals came out strong and clinched a fantastic 2-0 WIN! What a way to start the tournament with a shutout! 🥅
On Saturday, the momentum continued as our Capitals took on the OP Ice Bears White and secured another victory! These kids were playing with passion and teamwork! 💪
Sunday brought double the action and double the intensity! First, we faced the Chicago Stallions in a nail-biting match. Our Capitals fought hard, exchanging goals, but ultimately fell in a super close 4-3 game. But the story wasn’t over! They earned their spot in the Championship Game, facing none other than the Chicago Stallions again! In a true display of determination and skill, our Capitals left it all out on the ice, making it another incredibly tight contest that kept everyone cheering until the very end. The Stallions edged us out again, 4-3, but what an effort!
Our St. Paul Capitals Squirt B2 team truly kept it exciting every single game! We couldn’t be prouder of their incredible spirit, resilience, and the amazing hockey they played all weekend. They gave us a championship caliber performance!
