We're happy to announce that evaluation pools for Squirts, Peewees, and Bantams have been posted.

Your player's assigned evaluation pool is now visible on your Crossbar Family Calendar.

Key Evaluation Dates & Location:

>> Squirt & Peewee Evaluations Begin: Tuesday, September 16th

>> Bantam Evaluations Begin: Thursday, September 18th

>> Goalie-Only Evaluation Session: Friday, September 19th

All evaluation sessions will be held at Drake Arena.

Important Reminders for a Smooth Evaluation Process:

Pool Assignments: Your player must always skate with their assigned pool. Please note that your player's pool assignment may change from session to session. Always check your Crossbar Family Calendar for the most up-to-date information before each session.

Arrival Time: Please have your player arrive 45 minutes prior to their first evaluation session to allow ample time for check-in and to receive their evaluation bib.

If Your Player Will Miss a Session: If your player will miss any evaluation sessions, please contact Executive Director Katie Murphy at executivedirector@stpaulcapitalshockey.com as soon as possible, and before the scheduled session. Absences will be handled in accordance with our Evaluation and Team Selection Policy.

Opting Out of Evaluations: Players may choose to opt out of evaluations by contacting Executive Director Katie Murphy at executivedirector@stpaulcapitalshockey.com. Players who opt out will be placed on the lowest team at their respective age level. Opting out is not the same as having to miss evaluations due to illness, injury, or other reasonable cause.

Helpful Resources: We understand that evaluations can be a stressful time for both players and parents. We encourage you to review the "10 Tips for a Successful Tryout" article published by Minnesota Hockey, which offers valuable advice. For all other details, policies, and tips, please refer to our Evaluation and Team Selection Policy.

Finally, if you have any evaluation bibs from last year (please check your players bags) please bring them to evaluations.

Go, Caps!
