Peewee B1 2nd at Districts

The Caps Peewee B1 team finished second in the District 2 tournament yesterday with a 2-0 win against a tough Mahtomedi team. The Peewee B1s lost to that same Mahtomedi team this past Monday to move to the consolation side of the bracket and be a loss away from elimination. But the team battled past East Metro and White Bear Lake to gain another chance at Mahtomedi. Two goals by Desi Bustos were all the team needed to beat Mahtomedi for second place in the District 2 tournament. Congrats to Sam Blaisdell and the entire team on its second place finish at the District 2 tournament!!!

This team now moves on to the Regional tournament where it will face Prior Lake Gold at the Super Rink on Friday at 7:30 pm. Best of luck boys!!!
